WRT Class Overview
The Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) certification demonstrates knowledge to perform remediation work and an understanding of water damage, its effects, and techniques for drying structures.
Upon achieving this certification, you demonstrate you have the background to understand the procedures necessary to deal with water losses, sewer backflows, and contamination such as mold.
Ideal for: Technicians, business owners and managers, insurance adjusters, contractors, and property managers.
Use this certification to:
- Complete a water loss in a residential home
- Explain to an adjuster the proper procedures and difference for Category II or III water loss.
- Identify and change drying plans based on the Science of Drying

Class Schedule - Zoom / Live Stream
The following schedule applies to all days of training.
- 8:00 AM - class begins
- 5:00 PM - class ends
This is a Live Stream / Online training. Each student is required to have their own computer with a web cam and audio connection. Students are expected to be on camera and fully engaged in class each day.
Zoom/Class Login information will be sent via email approximately 48 hours before class begins.

Rudy Alford
Rudy has taught thousands of students while traveling coast to coast in the USA and internationally in Australia. He is an IICRC certified double master and also served on IICRC Technical Advisory Committees (TAC) for the contents packing and moving certification course. Rudy currently teaches WRT, FSRT, OCT and CPT classes.

IICRC Certification
To earn certification, students must pass the certification exam, which is available for an additional fee paid directly to the IICRC. Students must visit www.iicrc.org to register online and submit the exam fee prior to or on the first day of class. Please contact the IICRC with any questions regarding this process
