TCST Class Overview

This comprehensive program will help you gain valuable expertise in evaluating, cleaning, and decontaminating sites following human trauma events. Learn to manage unique challenges encountered in trauma and crime scene cleanup, based on the industry-leading IICRC S540 Standard.

This course prepares you for the IICRC Trauma and Crime Scene Technician (TCST) certification. It thoroughly reviews the process of inspecting and investigating crime and trauma scenes, emphasizing safety and adherence to the ANSI/IICRC S540 Standard for Trauma and Crime Scene Cleanup. 

Ideal for: Professionals that may encounter trauma or crime scenes, including: restoration contractors, crime scene cleaners, biohazard cleanup technicians, healthcare professionals and law enforcement personnel.

Class Schedule - Zoom / Live Stream

The following schedule applies to all days of training.

  • 8:00 AM - check-in
  • Class begins 30 min after check-in
  • 5:00 PM - class ends

This is a Live Stream / Online training. Each student is required to have their own computer with a web cam and audio connection. Students are expected to be on camera and fully engaged in class each day.

Zoom/Class Login information will be sent via email approximately 48 hours before class begins.

Meet Your Instructor

Rashelle Cornelius

Rashelle is an IICRC Master Water Restorer, Master Fire and Smoke Restorer, and Master Textile Cleaner. Rashelle is also a certified asbestos inspector and lead assessor. She has presented lectures for large consulting companies and done consulting for many restoration firms. Rashelle currently participates in all phases of job production and management.

IICRC Certification

To earn certification, students must pass the certification exam, which is available for an additional fee paid directly to the IICRC. Students must visit www.iicrc.org to register online and submit the exam fee prior to or on the first day of class. Please contact the IICRC with any questions regarding this process
