WRT Class Overview
The Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) certification demonstrates knowledge to perform remediation work and an understanding of water damage, its effects, and techniques for drying structures.
Upon achieving this certification, you demonstrate you have the background to understand the procedures necessary to deal with water losses, sewer backflows, and contamination such as mold.
Ideal for: Technicians, business owners and managers, insurance adjusters, contractors, and property managers.
Use this certification to:
- Complete a water loss in a residential home
- Explain to an adjuster the proper procedures and difference for Category II or III water loss.
- Identify and change drying plans based on the Science of Drying

Class Schedule:
The following schedule applies to all days of training.
- 8:00 AM - check-in
- Class begins 30 min after check-in
- 12:00pm - break for lunch
- 5:00 PM - class ends
*Additional breaks will be taken in the morning and afternoon at the instructor's discretion.

Greg Anderson
Greg Anderson has been involved in the cleaning and restoration industry since 2004 and spent many years managing emergency mitigation services, mold remediation, construction projects, and disaster relief efforts. He has real-world experience working as a Technician, Crew Chief, Project Manager, Operations Manager, Sales Manager, and Adjuster, giving him a unique perspective into all aspects of restoration work.

IICRC Certification
To earn IICRC certification, students must pass the certification exam and pay the exam fee directly to the IICRC. Exam registration is completed through iicrc.org .
