ASD Class Overview

The Applied Structural Drying (ASD) certification is designed for professionals in the water damage restoration industry. It covers effective and efficient drying techniques for water-damaged structures and contents.

This certification is particularly beneficial for those who have already completed the Water Restoration Technician (WRT) certification, as it builds on that foundational knowledge.

Learn proper extraction as we take our ASD facility and flood it with 2,000 gallons of water! That’s 16,680 pounds of water. Spend time learning how to monitor the drying process and provide critical documentation to support it.

Ideal for: Technicians, business owners and managers, insurance adjusters, contractors, and property managers.

Use this certification to:

  • Pursue partnerships with TPAs and convey professionalism and a deep understanding of how to meet and exceed program requirements
  • Prove your restoration company's proficiency in mitigation practices and industry standards
  • Give your customers confidence in your ability to perform work according to established and recognized industry standards

This course qualifies for 14 IICRC Continuing Education Credits (CECs).

Prerequisite Required: IICRC certification in Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT).
