Robert Falzone brings three decades of comprehensive experience in the cleaning and restoration industry to his role as an IICRC Instructor for both Floor Care Technician (FCT) and Stone, Masonry, and Tile (SMT) certifications. Since 2023, Robert has been dedicated to sharing his extensive knowledge, helping students develop the practical skills essential for success.
Robert is teamed up with his friend and mentor, former IICRC Chairman Dane Gregory and his approved IICRC affiliated school 3D Corporation. Robert teaches under the 3D school charter and uses 3D Corporation approved teaching materials, manuals PowerPoints etc.
Robert’s journey in restoration began in New York City, where he specialized in historical restoration. This unique background equipped him with a deep understanding of intricate, exotic natural building materials and the meticulous care required to preserve them.
After relocating to Las Vegas in 2003, Robert transitioned his expertise to maintaining and restoring modern properties. This shift, while different from historical preservation, allowed him to hone his skills in 21st Century cleaning and restoration challenges, finding satisfaction in making all things "new and clean."
With the advancement of technology, hybrid stone surfaces such ‘quartz’ and man-made clay tile with natural qualities are installed alongside traditional natural stone surfaces and standard ceramics. These materials would never be found in a 100-year-old historical building, yet because of his unique experience, Robert is able to teach both "old school" and "new school" techniques to his students who live in a variety of communities across the world.
Known for his hands-on teaching approach, Robert believes that practical application is crucial for mastering industry techniques. Students in his classes can expect a dynamic learning environment that blends essential textbook knowledge with significant practical exercises. Be sure to bring work clothes to his classes, as you'll be actively engaging in the work!
