The IICRC Carpet Repair & Reinstallation Technician course covers everything from fundamental disengagement and reinstallation techniques to the tools and safety practices that are essential for success.

Whether you’re a seasoned carpet cleaner or a restorer, this course provides practical solutions to help you recognize and correct common installation issues encountered during cleaning or repair. 

Who should attend: Carpet cleaners, restoration professionals, or general contractors who want to learn how to properly repair and reinstall carpet of all types.

The following schedule applies to all days of training.

• 10:00 AM - check-in
• Class begins 30 min after check-in
• 5:00 PM - class ends

This is a Live Stream / Online training. Each student is required to have their own computer with a web cam and audio connection. Students are expected to be on camera and fully engaged in class each day.

Zoom/Class Login information will be sent via email approximately 48 hours before class begins.

After enrolling you will receive detailed instructions to prepare for the class including access to the class modules that need to be printed prior to class.

Mark Violand

Mark Violand began his career in the carpet cleaning industry in 1977, working alongside his brother in a business that offered a full range of services—from carpet cleaning and color repair to installation, water damage restoration, and maintenance. Early on, Mark discovered his passion for training, taking responsibility for teaching new technicians the skills and standards that define quality workmanship.

Today, Mark is an IICRC Instructor holding 12 certifications and serves as Chairman of the IICRC S800 Standard and Reference Guide for Professional Inspection of Textile Floorcoverings and leads the Carpet Repair and Reinstallation Technician Committee.

To earn certification, students must pass the certification exam, which is available for an additional fee paid directly to the IICRC. Students must visit www.iicrc.org to register online and submit the exam fee prior to or on the first day of class. Please contact the IICRC with any questions regarding this process
